Julie Carroll, MPH is a project manager in the Outpatient Child Psychiatry Clinic at MaineHealth, where she leads two impactful, grant-funded initiatives: a bridge clinic that expands access to child psychiatry services, and the Maine Pediatric Behavioral Health Partnership (MPBHP), which offers psychiatric consultation to primary care providers across Maine.

Julie holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Southern Maine. She is currently collaborating with Katelynn Paul, LCSW, on the MMC Lockbox Quality Improvement Initiative, a project aimed at increasing the safe storage of firearms and medications in homes. In 2025, Julie was awarded the MMC Portland Department of Psychiatry 2025 Renee Leavitt Quality Improvement Award, recognizing her commitment to mental health equity and innovation. Julie is passionate and dedicated to improving children’s psychiatric care in Maine. She supports both frontline providers and her team, inspiring those around her with her dedication, compassion, and meaningful impact.

Outside of work, Julie finds joy in exploring new places and countries, bowling, and spending time with her rescue pup, Nica, and her partner, Andy. Julie also loves swimming and running, especially when competing in her hometown’s Beach to Beacon race.
