The Medical Education Outcomes Research Group (MEORG) is aimed at supporting research focused on specific topics of interest. MEORG is a group that focuses on research aimed at evaluating and improving outcomes of medical education programs and interventions. Specific areas of interest include medical simulation, evaluation of competence in procedural and advance communication skills, and curriculum model innovations. MEORG is a great opportunity to assist and support colleagues with educational scholarly activity. This is a forum for anyone who has an idea or work progress to garner peer and expert feedback. At the close of each MEORG meeting there will be an opportunity to further develop projects, share abstracts and generally discuss the development of your work. This forum is open to everyone from the least experienced to the most experienced researchers.
Vicki Hayes, MD

Dr. Vicki Hayes attended the University of Arkansas and the Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Vermont in 1993 and subsequently obtained a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Adolescent Medicine. She is a faculty member in the MMC Department of Family Medicine and a Master Educator in the MITE Academy. Dr. Hayes serves as the Director of the TUSM-MMC Competency-Based Apprenticeship in Primary Care (CAP) Course and as a coach in the TUSM Learning Communities Coaching Program.
