Katelynn Paul, LCSW is a clinical social worker in the Outpatient Child Psychiatry Clinic at MaineHealth. She provides therapy to pediatric clients and supports two grant-funded initiatives: a bridge clinic for child psychiatry access and the Maine Pediatric Behavioral Health Partnership (MPBHP), which offers real-time psychiatric consultation to pediatricians across Maine.
Katelynn earned her MSW from the University of Southern Maine in 2023 and her BA in Psychology from the University of New England in 2020, with a minor in MHRT/C. Her previous experience includes work as a Sexual Assault Response Team Advocate with SARSSM and as a psychiatric technician at Spring Harbor Hospital.
Her clinical interests include grief, sexual trauma, and suicide prevention through lethal means counseling and access reduction. She is currently working on a quality improvement initiative with Julie Carroll, MPH, focused on increasing safe storage of firearms and medications in pediatric homes.
Outside of work, Katelynn enjoys powerlifting, video games, building Legos, and spending time with her fiancé and their two cats, Monty and Merlin.
