Edward Silco, DO is a primary care pediatrician with MaineHealth Portland Pediatrics.  He also serves as the Medical Director for the newborn nursery at Maine Medical Center Portland Campus and is the Assistant Clerkship Director for 3rd year medical students in the Maine Track at Tufts University School of Medicine.  Dr. Silco received his BS from the Pennsylvania State University before earning his Doctor of Osteopathy from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011.  He then completed his Pediatrics Residency at Maine Medical Center.    Dr. Silco’s clinical interests include newborn care, early childhood development, acute care as well as medical education. Dr. Silco enjoys working with and teaching medical students as well as both pediatric and family medicine residents in his clinical practice. 

Dr. Silco lives in Scarborough with his wife and three children.  He enjoys golf, hiking, cycling, camping, traveling and attending his kids sporting events.
