Karyn Parsons, MD is a Pediatric Hospitalist at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center.

She graduated with a degree in biology from Williams College. She received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Parsons completed her pediatrics residency training at the University of Utah- Primary Children’s Hospital. Prior to joining Maine Medical Center she had experience in both primary care and as a community pediatric hospitalist. She was excited to return to academic medicine and have more opportunities for scholarly work and teaching. In addition to her clinical work, she has an interest in medical education and is a member of the Tufts University School of Medical Academic Coaching Program. Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, hiking and spending time outdoors adventuring with her husband and three young children.
