Tim is a Medical Librarian with 15 years of experience both in clinical and academic health science institutions. Tim’s research experience includes co-authoring several systematic and scoping reviews on a range of topics including therapeutic psychedelics in behavioral health, lifestyle medicine, and the impact of library services on clinical service delivery and outcomes. In Tim’s current role with MaineHealth he provides training sessions on library resources, evidence-based expert search support, and assistance in navigating the publishing landscape. Tim graduated with his Master of Library Science from Emporia State University in 2007. He has served in a variety of capacities across a range of health science libraries. Prior to joining MaineHealth in February 2021, Tim spent time with the University of Kansas-Wichita as the library’s assistant director. After that he ventured south to the University of North Texas-Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX where he worked in roles including Research & Education Coordinator and as the Clinical Library Manager for the JPS Health Network through a partnership between UNT-HSC and JPS.
